iPod Hi-Fi is basically the father of the Homepod.
Apple fukked up by not trying to release a better version of the iPod Hi-Fi a few years later before the market got saturated

Same price as the iPod Hi-Fi when it came out though.
But this has way more features than the Hi-Fi
However idk if that small ball is going to be louder than the Hi-Fi. I'm bout to cop an Hi-Fi tommorow for like 150$ and I'll definitely try to compare when I try the Homepod for 15 days.
