I just tried it (controlling the volume with air pod) and it worked with me my iPhone.My Airpod Pros were just delivered!! I just connected them. I’m pretty satisfied with the ANC. They’re about is good as my WH-1000XM5s in terms of ANC. I can’t hear my fan that I’ve got going in the background. They connected to my iPad quickly. Everything else is about what you’d expect from AirPods. I’m satisfied. Also, I noticed that I can’t turn the volume up/down by swiping up/down on the stems of the AirPods (as advertised), but when I connected the AirPods to my iPad I got a message stating that I’d have to set it up with limited features so I guess that volume feature will be coming in a later update? Anyway, now I just need my Plus. Two more weeks!!!

I think the update, that the message was referring to, was for the iPad? I’m not sure. I haven’t tried these Pros with my phone yet though.
Edit: Regarding that other poster who tried to post an amazon link…I don’t know what is wrong with this site, but posting links seems not to be possible. Strange.

I just figured it out. I thought the part you were supposed to touch, to adjust the volume, was on the outer part of the AirPods. I now see that flat part, on the inner part, that I can use to adjust the volume and play/pause. You’re right it is kind of finicky.Works with my iPad Pro as well
Yea I need to know. Upgrading my 2012 Air next year, and I'm not sure whether to go with the new Pro or the new Air...also gonna cop an Apple TV in a bit. Firestick is cool but Apple TV has a cleaner look (will just use both tbh). I have a Chromecast as well.

I buy the Spigen clear cases with the matte finish.might have to switch up the case to a clear. I bought the case I got now cuz it was $5 on amazon. but I can't stunt with the purple with this.
