Anyone thinking these smartwatches will kill luxury watches is a moron. Some of these timepieces are so intricate its disgusting. A good Rolex can last over 100 years. Your grandkids can rock it. LMAO at anyone rocking a iwatch in 2090.

This entire smartwatch fad is a gimmick and will fail miserably across the board honestly.

Yeah, I'm starting to see that too. These things are just gimmicks. The apple watch is a joke, just like the other smart watches

Just received my apple developer email. Soon you'll be able to preview( watch a video ) of an App on the App store before you buy it.

I bought a Galaxy S4 and it's a sh!tty phone, it feels cheap, it's laggy, and stopped working at the 12 month mark just like the last 3 androids I copped for wifey. None of those gimmicky features they put on there just to say they did it first work consistantly. ( the eye scrolling and video pause, the hands free voice commands, the NFC).

She's currently rocking my 3 year old iphone 4s and is happy that it doesn't crash constantly and has the most recent OS updates.

And Now the Galaxy 4 is sitting in a pile with the Galaxy 2 Skyrocket and Note 2 that no longer work and aren't supported. I think each of those phones maybe got one update the entire time we had them.

But that 4s is getting IOS8 tho.

yes. bigger phones and availibilty at all carriers is the only reason android got they foot in the door

Y'all must be rough on phones. I've never had a phone die on me between 5 androids a palm pre and an iPhone 5. And the Galaxy s4 is slow due to touchwiz so you just root it and flash a stock Android rom on it. Most phones are so easy to root a 10 year older could do it.

It wasn't exactly a pre order where I had to pay anything, their list went up today at 11am where they take your name and number and what model you wanted, they'll call me when it arrives, being number one the list I'm not waiting for a call, will just show up like

I'm watching the mid-day news here on WGN and there was a dude that was reporting from the apple event. and he said he tried the apple watch, and it wasn't even functional yesterday.

like the interface didn't work. it was just a watch playing a loop of the features we saw yesterday. but when you try to use it, nothing happened. he basically said it didn't really serve a purpose right now nor did he see an immediate need for it.
