This watch looks like the most extra/pointless piece of tech I've seen in quite some time

all smart watches are.

I'll stick to my g-shock and nicer analogues.

I've already got a goddamn computer in my pocket.

The only thing i'd use the Apple Watch for is running...and even then, I need music and can't do that without my phone.

Jobs would have NEVER let a watch come out that did not work independently. That is so unlike apple

how is the apple watch costing more than the mid-tier 32GB iphone?

Prices aren't comparable, one is subsidized, the other isn't.

To those expecting the apple watch to replace they iPhone at times, did y'all expect them to cram an LTE radio into these as well? Does any other watch do that?

The Moto 360 is $249

The moto 360 is also laggy, bad battery life, and uses parts from 2010

they didn't even explain how the apple watch plays music. does it have a speaker??? does it plug into your headphones???? do you HAVE to have bluetooth headphones?

1. its apple
2. WAY more functionality than anything else on the market. Hands down.
3. The best materials
4. the UI/UX is superior.

...but its a smart watch. You can't make it more than what it is.
