Thanos is so overpowered its corny.
The celestial armor should be able to hold off an eternal.
Apoc should be whooping everyone in reality
Plenty of possibilities but Thanos is the exception to every rule.
His brother Starfox has commented on the fact that he's never been just an Eternal, he's always been something more. Of course when he goes back to his own planet and destroys it, kills his own Mother

He should be more but shouldnt be able to just wipe out celestial tech when they were far more asvanced than evthe n him.
It seems the way thanos has everything fall into place for him making him onenof the kost powerfuk beings, apoc gets the exact opposite where we know he is super ppwerful but the writers always find. a new way for him to lose.

Apoc loses to Thanos. But Apoc losing as much as he does is pure DEM. Apoc is the premier jobbing villain. They will come up with some of the dumbest reasons for Apoc to not do things he is capable of doing for plot. He like Vegeta in that way.
Thanos isn't your average Eternal. And stop getting mad because ole boy above most Gods there is nothing corny about having power you sound mad.

mad? lol. they comic book characters bro calm down. acting like the writers give dont dudes boosts depending on the story is denial. one dude is an eternal (well, the opposite i forget the name). the other dude is a godlike mutant (who ruled for thousands of years and defeated KANGn pre celestial armor) with some of the most advaced tech/armor of all comics

Apoc is a mutant. Thanos is a mutant eternal. And Apoc isn't on the level of Thanos so to say he's godlike is

Apoc's powers are relatively average among the cosmic scale. Thanos has been transmuting and manipulating atomic structure since his first appearance in comics.
Apoc is exactly where he should be, a planetary threat. He has celestial tech but he doesn't understand it.

Thing is, there's Tiers to this comic book shyt. Apocalypse is a got damn problem, within his Tier. Now you take him out of it and it's like taking Mayweather out his weight class to fight prime Tyson. He's going to lose but it doesn't diminish his greatness, he's just out of his depth.
Every now and then you'll catch someone punching above their Tier (Thanos on Galactus) & sometimes the writers just decide to go balls deep in the fukkery (Squirrel Girl beating Thanos). Your best measure is usually in the middle.

I always thought Apoc's jobber status was related to him being the 1st black mutant and creator of all homo superiors and a great white hope from the future destined to beat him. I dont give a fukk what a writer say that nikka is black and for all his power they always pull a bs way for him to lose like other poster said.

Oh they most definitely job him out, but they do that to damn near every villain. Go through every heroes rogue's gallery and there's AT LEAST one motherfukker in there that should beat their ass on GP.
But he's definitely the Source for mutants & they can never take that away from him & they'll never get rid of him.
