People don't vote on the premise they are angels and despite all that the country still needs maintenance. With 2 viable parties they will still get votes. It's best to not interject emotions into politics just reason. If democrats stay home to teach the party some lesson it's a blessing to the other side which is using all the power it can get to do things like repeal women's rights. In actuality everyone would learn a lesson not just the party. Rethugs won't give a time out for voters to deliver lessons.
