Anyone wonder why most basketball and football players are black but the coaches

What about retired players? What's the reason a lot of them aren't given head coach positions? Why is there a minority interview quota that each team with a coaching vacancy must meet?

Good ?....except for Mike Singletary (who actually got the job by someone getting fired).Its simple they dont want us coaching.Look at the Cowboys. Jerry owns the team.His son and his daughter hold high positions. Not 1 black holds a high position in the organization. No assistant,no coordinator. People complain about the Rooney Rule but half of these coaches wouldnt be in the league without it.I remember when there was only 2 black coaches (Dennis Green and Art Shell). Rooney Rule comes and now there is 7 (not sure,too lazy to count)

shyt is absolutely disgusting. There's a "good ole boy system" in coaching where white men solely help out other white men. It really is a slave mentality (especially down south). I know plenty of bruhs that played college/pro ball AND have their coaching certifications but they can't get a job. In the rare instance they do, they're relegated to some bullshyt position without the possibility of ever becoming the head coach. Dudes have college/pro experience and have to work under some white guy that didn't make it past his JV B-team. Hell.... I have a former coach that played in the NFL and MLB. Dude's resume is off the charts. He's coached in the NFL, NCAA, high school and junior high. Dude has all his certifications and has a high winning percentage. He applied for a head coaching position at a majority black 5A school in Texas; didn't even get an interview. They gave it to some cac who was buddies with the former coach (former coach was a bigot and would actually block scouts from recruiting the players).
