Lavar talked about this. He said he knew the Alamo Bowl kid, he said the kid always seemed down trodden and off but he had no idea this was happening.

I actually believe him, tbh. Why would the players know about this?

I can't believe I'm coming to Matt Millen's defense.:snoop: At any rate Millen is from a different era so I can see why he's loyal still to Paterno despite the latest info. I mean the glowing things he says about the program could have very well been true when he was there so I'm of the belief this is what he's referring to.

Millen isn't really the best person to speak of behalf of Paterno, no one is really, no matter how connected they are to PSU. I'm sure this is a shock to most alum that Paterno played a sizable role in the cover up. No one wants to find out their heroes might have really been the scum of the Earth.

I can, b/c you defend all things PSU.

There's no defending Millens viewpoint b/c of his era. At some point, you get older and learn as you become a man. He's a grown man and should be nothing short of abohrred and completely disgusted by Paterno.

It went from, "well Joe Pa is old, so he probably didnt understand what was goign on" to "well, he told someone....he probably forgot to follow up".......what's teh excuse now?

Exactly, when it's all said and done, Paterno would've had Alzheimer's and had no idea what he was covering up, "Oh, Oh, Joe thought Sandursky was fukking Larry Johnson, so he just wanted to keep their relationship private."

Said this before on Sohh and I'll say it again here. Every single one of those people rioting after Joe Pa got fired need to have thier asses kicked for defending this disgusting excuse for a human being. Anybody attempting to defend him, humanize him, or stick up for him need to be tarred and feathered. This man stood by while CHILDREN were getting raped. Hell is too good for him...simply revolting:scusthov:
