they cancelled this in April quietly
the show never got to its Cersi Joffery moment it was aiming for. they made Augustus too much of an indecisive cuck and at times, besides not calling him Augustus. It didn't really want to lean into the more lecherous non gay moments of the Roman Empire, thought none of these shows want to do that nowaways.
we've also seen streamers would rather cancel and series and start anew, rather than continue to carry a middling shows with no real battles, just Vanderpump rules with a lot of too rich, too aloof family members bickering over every little thing.
