I've upgraded to it, but I haven't gotten the hang of it yet, either. There's a slight learning curve, which is what hinders my workflow...it slows me down, so I still use 11 (for now). For me, the revamped step sequencer/channel rack is my biggest gripe with the program. That definitely wasn't broken, so why fix it? During my free time, I fukk around with 12 in attempt to familiarize myself with a lot of its new features, though.
We know how DJ Toomp felt now when he said, "I got the (MPC) 2500. That's cool, and it does a lot of things, but I'm still on this one (MPC 60), 'cause I still don't know that one (MPC 2500) too well, yet. It's still new to me." Shawty Redd was the same way when he tried to go from the MPC 2000XL to the MPC 2500. He hated it! Redd still managed to make one of his hardest beats on the 2500, though, which is "Hypnotize."
