I thought it was supposed to relax you like an opioid.

It comes back to the dosing. Smaller doses: more energetic buzz
larger doses: pain/opioid/benzo affect

red vein is also more geared toward energy while white generally has better pain relief specs. Green being pretty balanced in the middle.

I'd start at 2-3 grams and go up from there if it doesn't work for you. So 1 oz should give you about 7-14 doses. The nice thing about kratom is taking less gives you better effects than taking more. Sounds like bullshyt but it's true.

Usually white strains=energy, red strains=pain relief/sedating, and green strains= a mix of both.

Try stem and vein mixes its a little but lower on alkaloids but its good to keep ya nerves calm while taking a tolerance break or trying to quit.

Couple years ago I took two green capsules from a gas station. Worst feeling. Super groggy I slept way too long. I threw the rest in the trash and said never again. It is addictive I can actually feel my body telling me to take more. That's fukked up. I only had it twice and I felt that after the first dose. I know now I can't take this consecutively.

Best bet is to avoid it altogether unless u in some pretty moderate to serious chronic pain, or coming off something they gave for such.

Once in a while if u wanna do it recreationally its a lot more harmless than pharmaceuticals but i would not make a habit of it unless its as an alternative to opioid pain treatment.

Yea people should Be careful with Kratom. It’s amazing in the beginning but it turns on you after a while. Makes you angry irritable, fukks your stomach up, makes you lazy and content, fukks your testosterone up ( mine tanked after using for a year) makes you paranoid and when you try to quit you get mild flu like symptoms anxiety and an inability to sleep. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s worth it.

Yeah it aint something to play with. Recreational high i say stick to weed. For me the krate train is a lesser of all evils. Those pain pills are no joke. Basically little more than socially approved heroin just served in micro doses.

The high is literally identical, just on a much smaller intensity. But the detox is still nearly just as brutal.

It’s what heroin addicts use once they are off subs. I agree I wouldn’t recommend for recreational use. It’s a great pain killer tho and easier on your body than other pain meds

I'm serious. In my experience there's only 1 OTC drug that feels exactly like it's illegal counterpart. Kratom would make 2.

idk how they do it man. I got hooked back in 09 after a pretty serious car accident. Had a bus slam into my van at a light. He had the greenlight but the a$$hole couldnt see i was in a funeral procession. I always hated those btw.

Anyway its my own fault because i was hurting bad and those shyts felt soooo nice. i was eating them like they was candy. I was pawning shyt within the year to support my habit

Driving my wife crazy my little brother who was a recovering HEROIN addict put me on. Told me it was the kratom or i could lose him and keep hurting my wife until i lost her too. Being the little brother for a change was humbling but little bro saved my life that day

As a compromise i still take a few twice a month, rest of the time its strictly kratom. I look at it like a compromise. My pain is managed, i trade a self destructive major addiction for a lesser high that doesnt leave me contemplating traveling outside Harlem lines to support my habit

I can even have them in my home now without grinding my teeth, which is a blessing cause now wifey needs all the pain relied she can get.

I even got her using it to help moderate her own pain killers so she dont end up falling into the same trap i let myself so long ago

I still rock with Kratom, love it. Sometimes even more than weed, but you gotta respect the plant. Can't use every day, take breaks every 6 months or so, same with weed or shrooms or anything else.

Some people are even addicted to buying kratom. You can get caught up in copping certain strains from certain "drops", shyt is like sneakerhead culture. I got my stash but I don't go crazy with it or make impulse buys due to FOMO. that feeling of having a new kilo in your hand tho
