Someone else posted above the way.... Basically change your VPN to whatever country you want, then go buy a digital gift/visa/cc/apple/whatever card from a company in that country and use that


At the end of the day, Youtube doesn't fukking know where you live. They can see where you log into and what you use to pay, but they don't KNOW your home address. So just find ways to TELL them your home address is in whatever country. I mean shyt, what if you live in argentina and you on a job for a few months in america? What if you live there but you fly back and forth every week? They don't know shyt but what you tell them.

ok can u PM a place to buy an prepaid argentinian visa? I got a working VPN to complete the transaction.

My renewal was cancelled and I've been trying to get it started again but Ukraine (which had been working) and Argentina (which I expected to work) aren't working

YouTube (web) says "couldn't verify your country" when I click renew which suggests an issue with the VPN/proxy but trying to get a new IP address hasn't helped

idk whether to wait for the current sub to end before trying again (apparently I shouldn't need to) or try a different country, I think there are others that are working but I didn't think this would take this long today

I let it expire and tried again with another country and it worked first time, but now I'm paying almost 3x what I was before

OK, so I got the letter last month about losing argentina, but they still just charged me the argentinian price of $3.63 for the family plan

@beenz They give you the warning, let you get another month, then shut it down the next month. It'll update to say it's canceling on ya next billing date.

I got that email back in October and yesterday they finally cancelled my premium.

So Youtube is cracking down and sending emails to a lot of users using the VPN sign up. Argentina, Ukraine, and India are patched.

Did some research on Reddit, this is the method that I got from there that worked for me, family plan comes out to $11/month. Higher than what I was paying w/ Argentina, but still better than regular price. If someone finds something better let me know.

I literally just got a message to reactivate my account and it let me set up my existing account like a new one, and I used the VPN for algeria and then put in a bogus algerian address of the college out there.

it still took my apple card, so this is a MAJOR W!

Fuuuuck this shyt sucks. I got a 45 second ad on a 20 minute video with more to come. That shyt said something like because the video is short I’ll get a few more longer ads instead of a bunch of short ads. I haven’t had to see this in 2 years so is this how it’s been outside?

the algerian method worked like a charm for me. I advise ya'll get that. I was paying $3.63 a month for the family, but now it's gonna be $11.55. but that's still more palatable than the $23 YT wanted to extort from me.
