Anyone hyped for the new Bond film?

Craig just signed on to do 5 more films this past December. Probably won't all 5 but we'll get at least another 2-3.

And this should be better than QOS.

Sam Mendes directing?

Javier Bardem as the villain?

Ralph Fiennes?

not really. i just think it's been way too long since the last one and i've lost interest. and i thought quantum was alright. wasn't as a good as casino royale but it was alright.

Always looking forward to Bond films, they tend to be pretty entertaining. Quantum of Solace wasn't THAT bad, but definitely not on par with Casino Royale.

As for me I thought Quantum was kinda dope for what it was. It was more of a setup movie, they could've done more with it, but they're setting up "SPECTRE" for the next generation and the modern Bond is going to dismantle it.

QOS was ok, it just dragged on forever at the end of it.I'll be seeing this on the first day though, can't wait. Just hate the endorsement with Heinenken for the movie cause I can't stand that beer.

nah, QOS was bad in its own right. I actually seen it before I saw Casino Royale so I didn't even have anything to really rate it against and I still thought it was bad. It was so bad I had no motivation to see CR but folks kept saying that it was better so I seen that and they was right, it was better. I eventually tried to watch QOS again but it was still bad.

Im not completely put off, CR was dope, but im not really amped.

Quantum of Solace was short as fukk.. it was like 1hr 40min long

It wasn't bad, but Casino Royale is a classic. In comparison it just seemed meaningless.

They initially had me with the serious, ultra realistic Bond in Casino Royale but lost me with the mopey ass emo Bond of QOS.
And if you didn't like the things that made the Bond franchise popular in the first place (shytting on Goldfinger? Really?) while considering QOS to be dope then I think you are the one whose opinion needs to be questioned. And you don't do a set-up movie and then have a 4 year wait before the payoff film is released.
