anyone here work 10hr shifts and have 3 days off?

i have 10 hr shifts, but I have thursday, fri and saturday off, but in a few months, I will be a firefighter and I will work 24 hrs, then have 2 days off

Yeah having that extra day off is great

I once used to work 32 hour weeks...two straight 16s and then be off the rest of the week. It was the best.

I had a gig like that but my days were Mon-Wed and I was off Thur Fri Sat & Sun. smh Monday Tuesday and Wednesday flew by every week. I would be in Roxy every Wednesday night like . I miss that schedule but I make 4 times more now than I made then so I'll take this gig over that one any day.

Having 5 days off was completely worth it at that time. Hell if I could afford it and pay my own insurance on top of that? I would do it in a heartbeat once again.

I took six 10 day vacations during those 2 years

I got a 12-hr schedule where we work 4 days, off 3, work 3, off 1, work 3, off 3, work 4, then get a week off. Feel like I got time to do nothing.
