How is whiting nasty? Bruh thats all Black people eat in the South East..... Alabama, Mississippi, Tenneesee, GA, Kentucky..... If you go to a fish & chicken spot, it's usually only catfish, Whiting, and maybe another fish (that nobody really orders).

It's hard to chew for one. Most times it is sold frozen. Just doesn't have a good taste. Most people buy it and eat it because it's easy to filet.

Tilapia is mostly farm raised but I still Fukk with it ... as another poster said it does well on the grill. Salmon is the best and can be decent on the grill with a nice thick cut ... red snapper is straight ... y'all ain't fukkin with porgy ? Catfish is a bottom feeder ... y'all can have that .
