Anyone here drive a Prius?

The batteries die and the cost a lot to replace

I thought hybrid technology progressed to the point where the batteries last a really long time.

as for the car, if I were getting a compact hybrid, I'd go with the honda civic hybrid or the honda cr-z instead since they look better than that ugly prius.

wife debated getting this a few years ago, but that fusion hybrid was kinda pricey. she ended up getting a jetta.

and speaking of VW's, you dont have to go hybrid. get a jetta or audi diesel car (TDI). them shyts get hybrid-like mileage and they are still decent looking cars. and the VW TDI's are very reasonably priced.

This is what I would recommend, those are actually really good looking cars and you get 100K warranty, it's hard to turn down.

Yea and Kia has like 5k in rebates, the dealer couldn't get rid of them so I got one for about 7500 under sticker. It's pretty peppy too. Around 200hp.

I need to upgrade my car and I'm looking at the Toyota Prius. It gets 45 MPG in the city so it will save me a lot of money. The dudes on my job told me that black people shouldn't buy these but honestly, I just want to save some cash. I wanted to see if anyone here owned one and if they liked it or not.

Just read that the scion was voted number 1 in reliability this year. I may get a used version of the toyota fr-s in about 2 years. The prius is nice but I want more style. The newer one's do look better than the old one's though. Saw (prius) one at the store and was mildly wowed.
