So OP…what you gonna do when you find out you neither and you’re just a dumbass?
I've worried about this in the past. I took a test at my doctor's office.
According to the test I'm not on the spectrum, but I could be considered "borderline" (whatever that means). I'm an introvert with extroverted tendencies, so I have my limits with social interaction (it gets exhausting, and I often have to take breaks away from people during parties.) No issues with loud noises. I'm a bit awkward socially but I know how to talk to people. I don't have a lot of super-close friends.
Most of my concerns come from my ADHD. I was diagnosed as an adult and it has really helped me to understand myself a lot better.

Gifted but that actually has a twang of autism in itself. Not ashamed by it by any means, because its better to tell testimony to give heads hope in having such a condition, versus lying to self. Hell, my son has the traits as well, its just a gift and a curse. The curse is the bad stigma behind it, but the gift knowing that you can function in society and managed to smile at the beauty of life.

I mean, I was tested for being gifted when I was younger, which seems like intertwine with autism. I have the traits:
- Sensitive to noise
- Aggy and wild focus with certain projects
- Anxiety
- Mental issues

Being tested for being gifted and being tested for autism isnt the same thing.

You should get tested for it.. gifted doesnt mean autistic. Its two independent things.
I actually mentioned it a few times with my therapist and the wife since she specialize in Behavior analysis.
