Planning a trip coming up where I'll be spending 2 nights in each city with my girl. Will be doing mostly touristy stuff (san diego zoo, golden gate bridge, alcatraz, etc) so being near the nightlife isn't a big deal. I'd like to go to a Lakers game to see the Staples Center so maybe something near there :manny: . Would prefer not to spend more then 200-220 a night but would go up to 250 if it was definitely worth it.

Only thing I care about is location, free wifi and maybe a gym :manny:

I stayed at the fairmont. It's over prices and really old not updated(I know it has historical importance).

Personally I'd recommend staying in the union square area if your an out of towner, the hotel Cartwright was decent and affordable

If u in L.A. i'll tell u to stay in Anaheim. the hotels are cheaper and overall cleaner at the prices u looking at.

Only real quality hotels in the L.A. for me are up in North Hollywood.

Plus if u stay in anaheim the hotel provide tour buses up to Hollywood, beverly hills, the hollywood bowl , the Blvd , etc

La you want to stay in the Hollywood area you gotta be careful there because shyt is so spread out you want a centra location stay away from the lax area, it's sketch and it's far from most shyt. VICEROY in Santa Monica is really nice but pricey

San Diego the gaslamp quarter is an ideal place to stay also check the Sofia hotel that looks like great bang for the buck

True. The Fairmont is more historical. But plush as fukk. The service is off the chain, but the amenities are dated. I would go to the Mandarin Oriental. Its in San Francisco's financial district near all the highrises and has dope ass views.

Appreciate the info so far. Need to look into some of these places. Anyone stay at the Omni in any of these cities? It seems reasonably priced and rooms are decent enough. If I can keep the expenses low enough I might add another few days in Vegas :leon:

Nope, but just downloaded the app. I'm a little weary of not having something booked until the day of and possibly having to change hotels every day (I assume.) I'm old fashioned :manny:

Just look at it everyday and see what them prices be like. You start to notice the trends. Worse case you can book on hotels.com or expedia if you don't like what U see.. Plus u can book 1-5 night stays .. Just an option
