Anyone ever write articles and got paid per click?

Word. This is what got me started writing online.

I had 100 articles on eHow.com making me $200 a month before the screwed all the writers over.

I started my own blog, but it hasn't really made much money. But at least I can't get fukked over in the future

Did they pay you up front for the articles in addition to money made after? What platform did you use for your blog. I'm just getting started, so I'm still able to make a switch. I want an independent site, rather than one where someone else ultimately can shut it down.

I've down some academic course writing, which I enjoyed and pays good. I want to do more of that while focusing on writing articles on subjects more relevant to my areas of expertise.

try hubpages. they're very strict though. they dont like any links or self serving ads. i got banned twice from that site.

They didn't pay up front, but you did get a cut of the residual income they made. And since the site was ranked so high, you really didn't even need to promote your work for you to start making money. shyt was status for real.

I use Blogger for my blog. Everyone says Wordpress is the best, but I'm just more familiar with Blogger. Plus, I found plugins for similar article widgets and social bookmarking so I really have no reason to learn Wordpress.

As long as you can buy your own domain you should be good. That's really important in the long run.

Think about websites like real estate, the more web property you have the more money you can make.
