Anyone ever upgrade their Bios?

Whenever I boot up my old PC i get a CMOS checksum error on screen and the the time is usually off. I think I need my bios updated.


What's a Cmos?

ugh, so I upgraded my bios and now my PC won't start



sh1t comes on but there's no signal to the monitor....... Monitor just says No device detected

Turn off your PC un-plug it, remove the cmos battery for a few minutes, then restart...

If that don't work your screwed lol

so its possible i flashed the wrong bios



how do i reset this sh1t? PC comes on but the monitor still doesn't detect anything

Try re-flashing your old bios image back? Hopefully u have another computer to download it

If you can atleast get to bios settings you may be okay, otherwise you may have bricked it.

What made u flash the bios. I always go under the school of thought you don't flash the bios unless your really having an issue,

already flashed it with some bullsh1t BIOs upgrade and now it seems bricked (fan runs, HD makes working sounds but no image on screen)
