I'm black myself, I don't listen to rap, i listen to trance and rock mostly , I grew up in white cac areas and majority of my friends were white, but ive never been ashamed to be black or hate it, I love being black and wouldn't trade it for anything

exactlymost african american people are mixed... but you can't see it... so what's the point of mentioning that you're mixed somewhere along the line? Unless someone sees it and asks you about it?

my great grand father is cac on my father side and on my mother side my great great grand mother is native american

I look mixed but I never tell people I'm mixed unless that's the subject of discussion. I'm just black breh, that's what I identify myself as and that's all my friends identified me as. Sometimes I've had people ask me what I am I said black and once some nikka was like "yeah aite" LOOOOOL. Other times I've been like breh im confused I'm mixed only to get the "Dog you black breh", but never ever ever will I shyt on black people no matter how confusing shyt ever gets. That's why I don't understand this motherfukker, your mother is black and you hate black people??? disgusting.

To me, its like what equates looking mixed? Lighter skin? Curly or bone straight hair? Straight nose? I have seen people with those who wouldn't, themselves say they were mixed because its not immediate. I have been asked and I shoot it down because its further down the family tree past my grandparents. So I am just black. Black people have a range of looks, I don't feel we should put ourselves in a box.

Flip side this guy I talked to, brought up his cuban grandmother or great grandmother. He looked straight up Nigerian his family was Nigerian. He claimed mixed.

I just don't bring up being mixed unless i have to, but it's very apparent. At the same time you could've had one white ancestor damn near 200 years ago... and you come out looking light as fukk, by today's standards that isn't being mixed. Look up the hodgetwins there's a book about their family. One irish guy fukked his slave and 200 years later damn near these two twin brothers come out with light as skin and light eyes. Black people definitely should not put themselves in a box.
