Kinda sidebar, but
I always find it weird that it's a popular trope on here to proclaim thecoli is a site full of weirdos, while continuing to visit and engage with other folks on a site full of weirdos. Does making that statement mean everyone is a weirdo except for you? And why do said folks continue to visit and engage with said weirdos? It's like a chick who's always talking down on bum ass nikkas but then everytime you turn around she's dating another bum ass nikka. Very interesting to me.
That aside, as far as the OP, you already know exactly what it is man. For some reason hood/popular hip hop culture has been equated to "blackness" for some folks. And anything that deviates from that, especially things that are considered "white", gets looked at funny from a significant percentage of the black community. If you don't fit the mold your "blackness" is always in question for some folks, regardless of your life experience, ideology, any of that. And it's not just "hood" folks that think like that, I grew up around plenty of suburban clowns that bought into the same dumbass ideology. That mentality unfortunately kinda permeates throughout all types of folks in the black community. But I just look at those folks as morons and I keep it moving. Life is too short to be living in a box because some folks you don't know, never met, and probably wouldn't even want to hang out with in real life, crafted a nonsensical opinion on who you are as a person.
If 2020 taught me anything it's that a whole gang of folks' opinions just ain't worth a damn at the end of the day, and I truly couldn't care less what they think/feel about how I'm living my life
This site is mainly for the jokes and fukkery but you really shouldn't be taking some of these dudes opinions seriously at all.
