I didn't say it was better than the Avengers.

I said I think GOTG 2 will be better than the Avengers 2

If GOTG was better than The Avengers then Marvel fukked up somewhere big time. Avengers set up consisted of like 5 separate films.

GOTG2 does have the potential to be a much better film.

However GOTG was pretty fukking fantastic and The Avengers has a TON of filler in between the action and not the good kind either.

So after seeing the trailer for Avengers 2

I'm a hold up just a bit.

but only JUST a bit.

I believe The Universe in which GOTG exist is just much more awesome. and of course that's a personal opinion. I'm not liking some of the location choices in the Avengers 2 trailer, but I'm sure it will be about 2 1/2 hrs long, so those segments obviously mean very little.

Maybe I'm just in a state where Threats to the universe >>> Threats to the earth. OR maybe I just find the characters more relateable either way, I'm very hopeful that Avengers 2 will probably set the bench mark for Comic book films before GOTG2 arrives to hopefully reset that bench mark.
