I think you can see that is obviously being dealt with. The league is going well out it's way to try and protect the players at this point, just watch a game today and watch a game from 1993 and you`ll see that.

I just find it annoying that a man who doesn't even have a child can speak on what his imaginary son would be allowed to do.

Obama pisses me off due to the fact he is the President. I can't stand the idea of a President trying to put his two cents in on something he should have nothing to do with while he fails miserably at most things he should be concerned with.

Football is our most popular game that millions of children and teenagers participate in, so the president weighing in on a sport that could potentially have significant health consequences for millions isnt outside his job description as the leader of our country. If you have broader concerns about the man and his job performance, take it up in higher learning.

Because in reality, you now got players like Bernard Pollard saying dumb shyt like "The league won't be around in 30 years". If the goofball thinks it's that dangerous, then shouldn't he stop playing?

The victim culture worries me, because in America we don't have any sense of responsibility. It's always the next mans fault, so how far are we going to go before someone starts standing up for the CHOICE that we all have as people to play any sport.

Dude, this is irresponsible as fck. For christ sakes one of the biggest stars in the NFL just offed himself, and it has been said that brain injuries related to the game aided in that tragedy.

And even if the participants accept the danger, what about their families and friends who are handed a neurologically impaired shell of a man? Is it their fault also for what transpires afterwards? Once again this is a sport that millions participate in, so this is a significant issue.

The same sort of rhetoric you're using for the NFL was used in pro-wrestling, when initial deaths started happening. It took a full blown epidemic, where pretty much every big star from the 80s and 90s had to die, before something was done about the connectivity between road schedule, steroids, rec drugs, and brain injuries in wrestling.

There is obviously a problem in the NFL. These players are stronger, faster, and hit much harder. You are being completely selfish here and only thinking of yourself and your enjoyment.

You didn't understand what Pollard was saying. He DOESN'T think its too dangerous. His point was that all these new rules making it flag football will destroy the league.
