I low key complete games to like 95-99% of the missions or main story and then never finish because I don't want the game I'm playing to end...

but then I move onto the next one and I never come back around and complete them :mjlol:

I think I got like 60% of my last gen games literally on the last mission/story/level whatever but when I go back it doesn't hit the same either :mjlol:

it's probably just me. nobody else does this right?

nah…I’m the opposite at times tho…I’ll have a weird anxiety about starting/getting into some games…especially big games that I know will require me to invest a lot of time…sometimes I’ll start off playing for a bit (like an hour or two) then just not revisit for days, weeks, and in some instances years

Im kind of the opposite, once im invested in a game my only focus at that point is to finish it. I cant invest in more than one new game at a time, and I lose my muscle memory with the game too fast if I stop playing for too long.

I used to do it more when i was younger but I’m more of a completionist now and love rolling credits.

If i drop a game now at the end its simply because i just haven’t been having fun with it by midway and feel like im just forcing it. Scarlet Nexus was that way for me, just had no motivation to turn it back on after a certain point.

Sekiro i was at the last boss, died a couple times in his second form and had to put the game down. By the time i was ready to pick it back up i was kind of over it already and lost my muscle memory for it

If I really like the game then yea, cuz I kinda don't want the good times to end. I still finish it, but I try to go and do a bunch of side quests and collecting if the end feels likes its imminent. I wanna have everything by time I see the final boss

Man who raised all yall incompletionists? :scust:

All jokes aside if you stop playing a long game after about 30% in, you might as well call it wrap. You’re at the point where the difficulty is just high enough that if you lose your muscle memory, you’re pretty much nerfing yourself when you return to it or all the systems, inventory, etc will overwhelm you by the time you come back and start playing again. If you’re in too deep you’re not gonna want to start over but wont have the desire to pick up from where you left off

Personally, if I actually like and enjoy a game, rolling the credits is not an issue, but rather an inevitable result of me liking the game:manny:
