I won't dignify some of these responses with a reply

Actually, I will
"This album ain't hip hop enough" As long as there's rapping and drums, its hip hop brehs

"They had too much talent to come out with this" So you think its that easy huh? Regardless of whether or not the album is good, there's so many different styles and personalities to mesh, and not all of these guys know each other or have that type of chemistry. Factor in label politics, label limits, and all of that, you can't be expecting a 25 track album with every rapper spitting a 16. Just picture how hard it is to do a duo collab album these days, let alone a group compilation LP.

"They make trash music" I'm guessing 50 Cent and Chief Keef put out classics on a daily basis huh

"I wanted this to be a summer anthem" When the fukk has Kanye put out an album full of summer anthems? This album is mainly bangers/singles anyways

"Kanye hasn't impressed me in years" WTT and MBDTF pushed it creatively to no limits, if you can't respect that then your whole perspective is wack

Most of the people in this thread's favorite songs from the album are the ones intended to be bangers, I guess the dumb really are mostly intrigued by the drum :yeshrug:

Funny there's 50 stans saying Kanye's stardom is fading :pachaha:
Personally, I didn't think the album was that great, but I just felt the need to come in and :cape: the album from debauchery and ignorance

breh this ain't a Kanye album....its a G.O.O.D. music album....although droppin the album right before summer is gonna end and calling it "Cruel Summer" might be genius, I still think summer is/was the time to give your artists more exposure. People play their music more often during summer and more loudly. Jay Z always brags about "hes on his Xth summer...still hot". So to me he missed the seasonal opportunity to boost up Pusha T, Big Sean, and 2 Chainz to bigger levels than they are now. I think he's gonna miss his opportunity to say that G.O.O.D. music is the rap crew to beat. But artists seem to always do this.....release a single to garner buzz then 3 to 5 months down the road drop the album when the single is played out. ANyways I'm hearing the album is just above average at best which is a dissapointment.

I was interested. But after I heard it my interest in GOOD Music solo and group projects has dropped to 0.

Album has the perfect criteria for an underwhelming album.

R. Kelly and The-Dream autotuned out? Check
shytty, repetitive hit boy production? Check
Trash Cudi Solo? Check
Teyana Taylor making garbage Keri Hilson like tracks? Check
Mase having the best verse on the entire album? Check

Also when did Kanye become Dr. Dre with 10 additional co producers on every track?

I don't ever recall Dr. Dre using more than two co-producers max for a song. Any songs that Dre used co-producers on usually had Mark Batson, Mike Elizondo, Glove, Mel-Man, Scott Storch or Dawaun Parker as a co-producer.

I don't knock Kanye for using co-producers as long as the songs come out dope. Even though Kanye actually does beats, these credits are looking more like '97 Diddy credits. Where Diddy had the vision and two or three of The Hitmen put together the beat.
