my story is an exception...if i was a lame low self esteem.

From my experience every dude I've met that wasn't into some kind of sport was a fukking weirdo. I'm an engineer (which even I can admit a lot of us are strange people) and 95% of my coworkers aren't into sports.

If it's not pro-wrestling, I just don't find sports engaging enough to follow along. I like wrestling because of the drama. I like politics because they directly effect me. I like business because I work in finance and the more I know, the more money I can potentially make. Sports bore the shyt out of me. Aside from the occasional boxing match with Money Mayweather or if my home team is in the playoffs (which they aren't), I am not interested enough in seeing a bunch of random nikkas run back and forth across my TV screen. Why is this opinion seen as odd or unmanly? Liking sports is a part of an extremely narrow, and frankly, boorish definition of masculinity.

People that say their lives are too busy to care about sports: I hate to burst y'all's bubbles but we're all busy. And if your life's work is that all-consuming, I'm sure you find other outlets in life where you turn to to enjoy yourselves. For those of us who love sports, this is it's function. It is our pleasant distraction from our busy lives. You have them too if sports is not it for you, and no I don't care what you say it is, it is not any more noble or mature than being a sports fan.
