i got into it when i was around 12-13, it actually helped me improve my writing

Same.

I probably stopped messing with the e-fed/roleplaying thing when I was 13 or 14 though. These dudes were writing dissertation long roleplay promos, like 2,000-3,000 words. As a 13-14 year old with all the time in the world, it was nothing to keep up but I'm pretty sure the other guys in the feds were like 18-25 with jobs, kids and real responsibilities

 I was actually thinking of this the other day, can't believe I did that shyt. Think it was around 99ish, was about 14 years old then.

It was set up like a message board so you'd have to cut your promo, describing the setting, mannerisms, as detailed as possible. Then the GM of the fed would put you in a feud and you'd do promos back and forth and depending who was better would win the eventual PPV match. The match was obviously written by the GM incorporating things you cut in your promo (I had a valet too :heh:). I won the IC title though on my debut :win: My witty writing skills were crafted around then I suppose :lolbron:

I even started my own fed on Geocities :laff: can't remember what I called it. Think it was XWF or some lame-o shyt like that :dead:

To be young again :sadcam:

Breh, I think I was in one called XWF :ohhh:

I know one of the ones I was in was GWF: Global Wrestling Federation. it was THE one to be in on the board I started on. It took about 3 months before they let me in.

I made my own as stated before. It was the CHWF, well because of my name. I never gave it a name officially though. Just was always CHWF.

i remember doing this back then. it used to be thru email i believe and people would write promos in different fonts and texts to make it look interesting. even had a few stables. think i might've won the title in a league or two as well. also wonder if it's still around today.

I got a email not too long ago from a old fed that was getting back together for a reunion. Nowadays it looks like its done on message boards.

I almost forgot I did this shyt. I ran a fed called Big Money Wrestling. Even dished out the money for a .com and hosting. It helped my writing skills out a lot.

I was in a few during middle school, between 02 and 04/05. It seemed like every fed I was in died after two months unless they affiliated with some big group or were already a few years old.

The higher you went though in terms of feds the more it looked like dudes was writing novels or something. One funny thing is I remember this dude I was in a stable with meeting his future wife in it, ain't that some shyt.

That's the level I was on :whew: Hung my keyboard up in the rafters as one of the best that ever did it.

Efedding helped my writing more than four years of writing class in an art school back in highschool.

At the top level dudes were dropping 3k-5k words. One of the legendary moments was this dude dropping 18k and winning the world title in what had to be the best fed on the net at the time. Years later the fed owner and the judges admitted to not even reading it. Dudes couldn't be bothered when they saw the size of the shyt. Just gave him the W and hoped no one would notice :heh:

I've got fukkery stories for DAYS with the shyt that was going down. From people meeting up to fukk to the high(low)lights of the daily lives of the people who were in their 30's going hard in this shyt. And oh lawd the e-beef:ohlawd: Them shyts NEVER died. Years after the fact and the emotions are just as raw.

Had a 15 year old me FULLY entertained on a Wednesday night online pretending to do homework. I'm persona non grata in two feds that are still running because of the top to bottom shenanigans I stirred up when I was in them.

I wish I would've saved the best rants that were aimed at me. Like when this kid in Lebanon with very questionable English blew up and fired off like 1k of barely discernible ether right at my dome. Dude was confirming stereotypes using 80's lingo and shyt Then fast-forward like two years he messages me on MSN thinking I was someone else talking about how he was secretly living gay in his village :dead: When I exposed him dude tried to flip like he was a hardcore muslim fundamentalist screaming some I hate the gays shyt then vanished off the face of the internet.
