Actually I don't really like the songs either. Songs in musicals tend to be really fruity to me. I cant get jiggy with that shyt. I never really saw a musical with music that left me like:
A musical to me just seems like half-assed singing, dancing, and acting. I would much rather go to a play or concert than see a weak ass combination of that. Even if its a musical based off the music of a popular band or singer they almost always end up making that shyt gay as hell. .
Just look at Glee
Kids cartoons only get a pass because of the nostalgia factor. I didn't even really sing along to the musical parts like most kids did. I tolerated them.
