I heard the translator say the cornermans words
"Champ, champ, your knees aren't responding. I have to end this one. Your knees aren't responding. You're still the champ to me"

What happened to that timing against Austin Trout?

I don't think he got up for that fight (pause), and I was one who wasn't "SO" Gung Ho about Pedro Diaz even before the Floyd fight style wise for Cotto, but it is what it is. Even seeing Trout in his recent fight I don't think he does the same to Cotto in a rematch, but at the end of the day it's an L for Cotto but just seeing Cotto alone compared to 2-3 years ago, he looks VERY revitalized and if he does beat Canelo, at least for me that'll further prove it.

Im :patrice: on Cotto still, because of the clean loss he took to Trout (even though he bounced back with Martinez). I would've liked to see him fight someone else before fighting Canelo, to see if he's really back or if it was a mirage.

He did look good against Martinez though and maybe him and Freddie Roach may be on to something, because a trainer does impact fighters alot.

Not to mention Sergio begging to continue, saying that it was his "responsibility as Champion." :wow:
