Anyone else a little disturbed by the Warrior worship on here as of late?

i didn't really get so much into the wrestling culture as a kid and read this whole thread and is interesting and comedic...

well, this thread is the result of living in a racist white supremacy culture.. the negros just give in get into it too and kinda rationalize this shyt.
as a kid my father would never allow me to watch that filth. and now as an adult i can't continue watching it cause i don't know the characters. i just know they are classic characters.

while wrestling is good entertainment and one of the best sports business models out there in sports, it's just not for me. not so much that it's fake because the sports are fixed too for ratings but it's just a huge waste of time.
i can't knock the wrestling organization(s). the concept is genius. everyone gets paid wtih minimal casualties.. no one gets in trouble eating roids..

wrestling is 100 times better culture than we black ppl call entertainment because it's not that much self destructive like video game culture or music culture...

never watched a single wrestling match from the late 90's til now so i don't know what goes on there now. stil no excuse to support a racist mf now or then...

Finding out what kinda person he was behind the paint as an adult doesn't wash out the memories the character gave as child. They're called your formative years for a reason, you'll always have a soft spot for the things that mattered to you in those times. ..

I didn't know "man" personally to judge him nor the reasons for his "controversial" views and comments etc, all I had was the character I connected with as a kid and that's plenty of reason to be sad that he's gone and to speak glowingly of what was a superhero to me.

Exactly , it would be like Harrison ford being found to be a racist , it doesn't make me hate the beloved characters he portrayed .ultimate warrior the character was one of my favorites jim warrior helwig on the other hand said a bunch of messed up stuff that I don't support . That's why you should never meet your heroes

Can't believe I'm just seeing that post by @61 Corpses , I must of been avoiding it on purpose :mjcry::wow:. Hogan and Warrior were my idols when I was a young kid, I hoped when I had kids to show them all the classic matches that I grew up on while reliving the memories but that won't be happening now :snoop:.

Warrior was before my time so I didn't have the level of attachment that most others here had. Warrior is the type of wrestler I probably would have been a mark for as a kid but after watching him as an adult on the WWE Network (for only $9.99 a month :jawalrus:) I was left underwhelmed.
And his in ring skills were
full
. The WWE heavily revising his legacy has been :martin:.
