but Guru separated and didnt want to talk to Preme for a reason. Till his death, it takes 10 seconds to make a phone call and he didnt want to.
that is the biggest piece of evidence you need to see what's going on. When this all happened I didnt care for Solar, but the shyt he said in that video made sense
he was speaking calm and very truthfully, wasnt stumbling over his words... he wouldnt have been able to stop anyone coming to the hospital... and even with the epic premo
story about the hospital... you cant really waltz into ICU just like solar said. ICU is a different animal it doesnt add up like the story he told. What the hospital would do is literally pump
air into your lungs and force you to still appear alive... and if you were going to pass... they would most likely transfer you before the family could see you.
Even if its true, it still wouldnt change the fact that Premo didnt want to see him. I think, here's the speculation....
Premo pressured Guru to work more and jump onto the money train so they could keep the group together and take off ... Guru was alcoholic at that time and they probably got into a physical altercation. Premo is set for cash but (maybe the crack shyt is true) who knows only speculation here. So maybe the situation between them both came to a head, maybe Premo stole a larger cut of money at the same time... Something happened to make Guru say "fukk this dude I'm completely out, the music we made is what it is" Like other people said, Solar was probably perfect place at the perfect time... and Guru jumped over there for a way out. Guru probably struggled with getting sober and Solar did help in a way... and maybe sometime it appeared weirder and more physical than usual. Which is super toxic in itself, but he probably meant well... but once the royalty checks from Gangstarr kept flashing in front of Solar's face... he probably knew he had to keep Guru around. I wouldnt put it past another person to try to have someone killed, ive seen weirder things and similar situations with real family... money changes everything. That could also explain why Solar wasnt there to keep up with Guru, although speaking now would be just as dangerous as speaking then. So it doesnt add up...
I think Guru was a great dude with a big heart and got caught in the game between two people who wanted to be discreet about robbing him. Between alcoholism and being cornered into "betrayal" Guru probably threw in the towel. We would need a real Bio of Guru and we probably wouldnt get it from these two people who would lie to cover up shyt about him. Guarantee his parents hated his rap shyt and stopped talking to him, he was probably discarded by "family" since day 1... which would show through the messages and knowledge in his music.
