Added Georgia Hall in the Ladies Aramco Team Series +1600
She just hit an amazing 2nd shot on the Par 5. Basically a tap in eagle for her now. She was as short as +400 yesterday, a slow start saw her odds go back up today but hopefully she goes on a roll now.

Final two before Houston Open Starts

Harold Varner III +6600
Taylor Pendrith +9000

Matt Wallace has turned his day around to finish level par. Sean Crocker playing well, was considering backing him. Will keep an eye on him. Veerman who I also looked at likely to miss the cut. Can't back everyone obviously

Saudi Aramco Team event is heating up. Georgia Hall just tied the lead at -14 with a long eagle putt. We have a three way tie at the top with Olivia Cowan and Ciganda.

Just placed 0.5 units on Thitikul who is only 4 shots back. She still has 11 holes left, would take a lot but could she her having a crazy back 9 and getting into contention. At +10000 it's worth a shot. Just dropped to +6600 now but I haven't see a shot so not sure why yet.

Good chance here. The long shot 15 year old at +50000 has finished at -6 currently T24 and 5 shots behind a top 5 finish. Can see her having a big place soon.

Solo lead heading into the back 9. Wind picking up now so anything could happen.
This was a sign of things to come. 2 bogeys on the back 9 ruined her chances.

Min Woo Lee was 2 shots back in the European Tour on the back 9 and 2 bogeys in on the 15th and 16th killed his chances. Without that he'd have tied for the lead.

Nelly Korda won at 9/1 but not without giving a huge scare :picard:.
She was leading heading into the final 9 holes as well but by the 17th was tied with Lexi Thompson. Nelly shot a triple bogey on the 17th :sadcam:. Would have been a great time to back her but I was convinced she'd lost at that point. Somehow Lexi bogeyed the 17th and 18th missing 4 ft putts while Nelly birdied the hardest hole on the course the 18th and took it to a playoff. Nelly beat Lydia Ko, Lexi and Sei-Young Kim sudden death rules on the 18th. Would have been horrible weekend if not for Nelly but could have been amazing had I backed her again after the 17th hole.

This week is the final of the Europan Tour Championship and that starts in 6 hours.

DP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

MINWOO LEE +3000 1 Unit Win -
Minwoo has played great the last few weeks. T4 , T8 and T2 in his last 3 appearances. He is currently ranked 51st in the world. Top 50 next month get an invite to the Masters so he has a lot of motivation to play well. Also Minwoo is one of a few players (Collin Morikawa, Tyrrell Hatton, Billy Horschel, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Paul Casey) who can win enough points here to claim the season title. He's choked a few times the past few weeks I can't lie but his game has been consistent and he has stated he's been working towards this week. The course is suited to big hitters and even though he's a small guy he is one of the longest hitters in the short 53 man field.
RICHARD BLAND +7500 0.5 Units Each Way Had an amazing season picking up his first win on the tour and led the US Open after the first 2 days :wow:. Playing the best golf of his life and everytime I count him out he surprises me. Had a back issue but took last week off so hopefully feels fresh. If the big names aren't on their A game this man could take advantage and with just a 53 man field I expect him near the top 5.
SEAN CROCKER +5500 0.5 Units Each WayPlayed great last week in Dubai and I was disappointed I didn't back him each way last week.

INPLAY BETS -
The two short price faves Rory Mcllroy +600 and Collin Morikawa +8500 are the ones inplay I will be watching. Like mentioned the course suits big hitters and Rory is one of the biggest hitters in the game. He has won this tournament twice before at similar prices and has a great record at the course in general. His confidence is back after his recent win in the CJ Cup (where Morikawa came 2nd) and I think he might have a big year.

Morikawa is number 2 in the world with 2 majors at 23:wow:. He seemed way out of it at the CJ Cup and shot -9 on the final day to finish 2nd. If I see either at +1600 or higher I'll be backing them. I mainly started this tactic for Rory because he often starts slow so you can get a lot better prices during or at the end of the first round.

THE RSM CLASSIC (PGA)

Mackenzie Hughes +5500 0.5 Units Each Way -

Adam Scott +4000 1 Unit Win -
Let us down last week but not many played well last week as it was a really tough course. Willing to give him another chance and ignore last week. Expecting the course to be a birdyfest this week as previous 2 winning scores have been -19.

Lot of talk about Kevin Kisner this week who has won previously here:patrice: not convinced but may have a dabble inplay so as not to feel stupid if it comes in.

Not really looked at any of the women's golf this week. There's a lot of coverage for the two men's competitions this week so might not see as much. Not much golf left this year so hopefully get a nice win here.

Featured group coverage on now in the DP World Championship

Crocker has started well and is T1 at -2. Just started some new pills and feel high so gonna avoid placing any more bets for now. Can't sleep tho so will probably watch most of todays action.

Biggest worries are Matt Fitzpatrick who won last year, the Hojgaard twins, Billy Horschel who seems to love this tour and Danny Willett who seems to come to life at the big events.

Also Rory and Collin Morikawa if their odds don't go up sometime today or tomorrow.

Rory is tied for the lead and +200. Should have backed him for first round leader at +1200 but he said he had jetlag. I gotta stop listening to what these golfers say before events :francis:

.

Mackenzie is T2 after round 1. He seemed pretty relaxed and should be as he is used to the course having won here before. Weather was perfect today and he took advantage shooting -9. Weather should be worse tomorrow so hopefully that doesn't hurt him too much but keeps some of the others closing in on him. Obviously with bad weather anything could happen over next few days so Adam Scott is still in it at -3 and seven shots back although hope he's not regretting the double bogey he made today.

Didn't follow the trend and back Kisner and he's 4 over now and likely to miss the cut.

In the DP World Championship Sean Crocker is 4 shots behind. Need a big day tomorrow from Minwoo Lee. Backing Richard Bland looks like a mistake. Tbh it's likely to be either Morikawa or Rory who were both a bit too short to back. Both playing amazing though and if anyone shoots lower than them this weekend they deserve to win.

Mackenzie Hughes finished 2nd and returned 8 units. There was no catching the leader Taylor Gooch and Hughes did everything we could ask shooting -9 on a Sunday to finish -19 (the winner score last 2 years) but 3 shots back.

.

Collin Morikawa went out to 18-1 on Sunday and after a unlucky shot from Rory Mcllroy where he hit the flag pin and the ball bounced off into the bunker he stormed to victory. Put 1 unit on him for 19 units returned. Will count up the units and work out where I'm at soon but been pretty sick lately and haven't been bothered.

Morikawa played great after having a slow start handled the pressure well after he was at risk of losing first place in the race to dubai standings heading into the back 9. Matthew Fitzpatrick came from outbof nowhere to lead at one point Sunday and if Morikawa finished outside the top 8 Fitzpatrick would have won the race to Dubai. Even bigger things to come for Collin Morikawa imo.

None of the other selections did much tbh

3 events this week and they are all prettt weak fields so won't be putting many selections up.

Blue Canyon Phuket Championship

Jazz Janewattananond +1000 1 Unit

Johannesburg Open

Dylan Frittelli +2000 1 Unit

James Hart Du Preez +15000 0.5 units each way

Madalitso Muthiya +25000 0.5 Units each way

Nothin for the women's tournament but I may back something inplay. Will try to update if I do. Back in the black and standing at +3 units after last week. With 4 units on this weeks selections. A much better tournament to look forward to next week so no reason to go crazy today. The eachway selections are all longshots but confident about the two win selections chances especially Jazz Janewattananond. Backed him a few times before on the DP World Tour and he's won me some eqch way money. Can be infuriating at times like when I backed him at the Olympics and he got off to a great start then seemed to go the next two days without making a birdie :francis:. This is a much weaker field he's up against though and if he's anywhere near his best should be in the running come Sunday. Should be fave over the American Catlin imo.

Johannesburg Open cut to juat 36 holes due to extreme weather and the new strain of covid. Hurt us as Madalitso Muthiya was just two shots off a place which would have paid out at 41-1 :francis:. Dylan Frittelli after leading up until the 17th hole on the first day totally collapsed, my bookie has returned the stake for that bet though due to the tourney ending early. Got to wonder how much the news of travel restrictions being applied affected a lot of players heads. No excuses for Jazz Janewattananond who misses the cut and no coverage so I didn't get a chance to see what went wrong.
