Anybody watching the new ABC sitcom "Selfie" with Karen Gillan & John Cho?

I'm torn because Emily Kapnek created Suburgatory which was at times, one of the funniest shows on TV, but this show has basically been panned by most if not all reputable critics.

i wanna say it is only six episodes so far, and they are all hilariously funny.
even the goldberg's on abc has not been funnier.

Suburgatory was about a girl and her father, "typical" New Yorkers who move to a suburb outside New York.
It's about how weird White suburban life is, especially to a Doc Martin wearing, indie rock listening teenager who now goes to school where it's like Mean Girls. Bring it On etc.
That may not sound like your cup of tea (I mean, honestly, on paper it isn't mine either), but the supporting characters are what make the show. They play stereotypes, but in weirdly specific ways.
There's a Mean Girls type character called Dahlia, but she plays it completely devoid of emotion. Her mother, Cheryl Hines' character is great too. The main girl, Tessa (Jane Levy), her best friend Lisa becomes in the 2nd and 3rd season, fukking hilarious.
Lots of jokes, lots of weirdly specific Hip-Hop jokes later on that set-up and pay off lol (in a show with a 98% white cast, someone walks down the isle to Type of Way by Rich Homie Quan)
Great show, better than anything that came on this fall, and I guarantee if ABC knew how Selfie would crash and burn, they would have just let Emily Kapnek keep doing Suburgatory.

yet, the setup for the so-called romance.
is so far off, that the ride to get there is so funny.
you shouldn't miss it.
eliza, messes with this cat that looks like the evil hydra agent from shield.
their lover based lust fest shyt is just like how real life is, since smart phone took over.
when, dealing with women in this day and her character's age bracket.
show is brilliant and touchs on a bunch of stereotypes.
even, down to the offbrand weirdo sellout but likeable black ex on the show.
where i am not offended by his actions, cause that nikka is such a fool with it.
that although he is a sellout.
it would be a riot to work for him, though.

Breh I'm currently watching the short-lived ABC Sci-Fi drama "FlashForward". John Cho plays 1 of the main characters on this show & he's engaged to a Black Woman on this show played by Gabrielle Union:
