:mjlol: Stephen A Smith will be apologizing on Twitter tonight or on Monday morning. His ass stay crossing lines and backtracking.
Yeah he can't help himself. I once made a thread called "Stephen A. Smith is the most fake articulate dude ever" and this is another example of that. He forces use of his list of "big words," but he still articulates himself very poorly at times.

That's why he caught hell for that dumb shyt he said about how women shouldn't provoke men to beat them. There's a way to essentially say men and women should both take measures to de-escalate tense situations before they become physical without coming off sounding like you could be blaming women for being abused.

And here he could've made the point about Ayesha's tweet being problematic for her husband without mentioning Savannah. It does reek of trying to pit the two basketball superstar wives against each other and she was right to check him. She should've went further and called him a bytch ass nikka imo because it was so chatty patty :dame: His explanation was weak. He said he mentioned Savannah because she's an example of how she could do different. Well there's hundreds of athletes wives that don't pop shyt on twitter. He didn't have to mention anyone in order to illustrate an example when Ayesha is the aberration. He chose to mention the wife of the star Steph is playing against right now for no good reason.

I think after he gets a call from one of his ESPN bosses, he might give an apology for mentioning Savannah. He just doesn't know when to shut the fukk up, or at least think before he talks. I think he's going to keep getting into some serious hot water after Skip leaves and he has the full reins.

ESPN just gives these dudes too much fukking credit. You're a fukking talking head on a sports network.

I mean even if he's saying some real shyt, I hate his tone and diction and voice.

my thing is this....every god damn sports network was telling Brent to check his wife Miko. He says this to Steph in wayyyyyyyy nicer words and folks raising hell :mjpls:

just amazing how conditioned nikkas are

edit: and I can't stand SAS but I gotta be objective on this :sas2:

He keeps it up he going get the call from ESPN beginning with "After careful consideration" and ending with "your services no longer needed". He needs to realize he isn't Charles Barkley he can't say whatever he wants. Barkley the only brother that the white media gives a pass too imo. If you ain't Barkley you better choose your words carefully and learn how to make your point but in a way that's tasteful but still effective.
