Saw it a few nights ago...me and my girl paid for the Phillip Seymour Hoffman movie most wanted but we got there 10 mins late and was pretty buzzed so we couldn't follow it so we hopped into Frank..I thought the storyline was pretty basic..they start a band..break up,,and get back together again..not a good story line at all..I did like Frank,,he was the glue that made them all stick and he would just come up with songs out of nowhere..but I didn't think the movie was that good..

Brehs this movie it's just one of those movies that's not great, but it's great if that makes any sense. It's one of those movies that stays with me when it's over. It's gotta be the performances. Like I'll think of some moments and start laughing and then I'll think of other moments and it's sad as fukk. Definitely worth a watch.

It was an odd film. Didn't think it was bad but it wasn't great either.
Fassbender gave a really good performance though.

i want him to get nominated. to convey what he did without the use of his face for 99% of the film was impressive.
I doubt he gets any awards love for this role. The movie is too small, too weird and came out during a slow time of the year when the folks who hand out nominations aren't paying attention.
I'm going to check this out tonight.
