I have an iPad air 4th gen. It's great, but I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and it's by far my favorite mobile device.

I got an iPad pro with the keyboard attachment from work.
I would say I do 40% of my work from it now but still use my laptop mostly.
iPad is better for travel though

really depends on what you're doing with it
if you're doing anything beyond writing then it might be tough
the Magic Keyboard is better than the Smart Keyboard but you kind of relinquish the tablet mode while using it
luckily you can take it off
I'm still waiting for an iPad Smart Cover that can attach to the magic keyboard
or if they make a Magic Keyboard that can fold like a Smart Cover

i dont, but my mom has the keyboard and ipad combo and loves it

I mean like this where I can still have it attached but want to hold it in my hands like mjThe magic keyboard folds like a cover and you can still use it as a tablet.
