Man I just bought some POS blender yesterday. I have been mulling over getting a Vitamix/Blendtec for years. Might take the shyt back and just get the real thing.
I got the Ninja and it was ok but it doesn't compare to the Vitamix. I tossed a few whole tomatoes some diced onions and a clove of garlic in there with some chicken flavored sodium free soup base and it made a tomato soup that shyts on the canned variety. Just the fact that I can make soups on my own and eat them everyday makes it worth it to me. Now I just need a few more Thermos mugs and I got a healthy lunch at work every day.

I probably been eating too much soup since I got this because my daily calories are falling down to 1500-1800 and I'm still not feeling hungry. I have to eat a bit of junk at the end of the day just to get my calories closer to 2400.

I got mine at Sam's Club for $499 and the regular price is $530. You don't have to get the most expensive model though but I've only had it a few days and right next to the T-fal OptiGrill its one of the best devices I've owned.
Tell me about this Opti-grill. Is it easy to clean? Looks like it's simple to use from what I just saw on Amazon

Very easy to clean. It's pretty much a brain dead product. It has setting for different types of meat as well as if it's frozen or not. You start the grill with the power button then select your meat type and it beeps when ready then you put the meat in and it beeps when it's done. You can put the plates in the dishwasher if you choose.

Got the ninja ultima professional blender it works as good as a vitamix but cheaper.
Negative it doesn't blend evenly. It's better than nothing though. Having had both the Vitamix is far superior but it was a kick in the balls to pay twice as much for it.

I have a vitamix and a nutribullet. Nothing fukks with the vitamix but the nutribullet does a decent job if you're just using it for smoothies. The vitamix is way more versatile.

I have to disagree. A regular Ninja won't compare but the top of the line one works just as good as a vitamix. Its 1500 watts and 2.5 horsepower. Plus single serve option. There is not much difference between the vitamix and ninja pro. Other then price.

Like I said I've owned both. It wasn't a light decision to pack that Ninja up and take it back and pay the extra $150 for the Vitamix but it was worth it.

:yeshrug:I work as a chef and I've had a good experience with both but to me ninja works just as good.
did you have fun taking the Ninja's top off while it was blending to blend everything evenly?

If you cheap out and get the knockoff product that's cool but don't act like it was a savvy decision instead of one driven by price. The Ninja isn't messing with the Vitamix. If all you want is a blender it's fine but if you want the best one it ain't it or even close.

I dont have that version. i have the pro model. We juice all the time and it does a great job. i cater and this has replaced my food processsor. plus the single serve cup option is great. weve tried and researched both options. Ninja performed just as good as vitamix. Here goes a link to a review of the version i have

We didnt just go off price. we factored it all in. at the end ninja stood up to vitamix. not saying its better but not far off at all. pretty close actually.
