I use to work at rent a center and if you're renting something short term, like for a month at the most, then its a good deal. People get caught up in those low weekly payments but Rent a Center basically takes what they paid for an item and multiply it by 4.5 and then spread it out over weekly payments. So buy the time you pay it off, you done bought the shyt like 4 times.

But I won't knock you for using rent places. It's 90 days same as cash just make sure you Look really distraught when youre lying to the cops they gotta really think someone stole this laptop out your car window parked in your yard.

TBH, I never new Canal street sold ish like that. Only fake clothes and cheap tablets like the on I'm using now.

Craigslist is looking real good right now though. I think I've looked at 10 machines in my range and all of them seem stolen.

If they got a deal going, you might get the first week free. For a laptop, you will probably pay like 15 to 20 dollars a week depending on the laptop. You might be able to prepay it just depends on the location. Account managers have a weekly quota to make. Everyone either pays weekly or by weekly. Accounts in red are due or past due, so the goal is the have as little red as possible. For a month thouh you shouldn't pay no more than $100.00

The hours you gotta put in are crazy.. I was working 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. You have no life working those hours. Some hood rats or MILFS will offer some ass to keep you from taking their stuff though. You're basically a repo man. If you make it to store manager.. fukk your life. They put in even longer hours.
