Anybody ever think about wrestlers ages at certain points in their careers?

How does a thread about wrestler's ages exist in 2020 without Diamond Dallas Page and Paige.

DDP started wrestling at 35 and his career didn't really pop until he was about 40.

Paige had an entire career's worth of shyt happen to her with a movie made about most of it. She's retired and only 27 NOW.

The Rock is truly the craziest one

Dude did it all before he even hit 30. A Hall of Famer in 5 years

Also pioneered in the biggest boom period ever without an extensive indy background to develop in. Just a natural

:wow:

No one in this NXT era can claim that unless they were already pushed to the moon (The Shield)

DDP was 42 when he teamed with Karl Malone to face Hogan and Dennis Rodman in 1998:wow: DDP in there with 2 NBA legends at their peak visibility, and not while they’re washed years after their prime:picard:

Even when Hogan was the biggest thing in wrestling, he looked old as fukk. Walking around with a balding head his entire career. :russ:

A lot of Undertaker's classic matches took place in his 40s. I don't know if the gimmick restricted what he could do or he just wasn't that good a wrestler in his early days, but he was damn near 45 when he had the first Mania match with Shawn. :wow:

I always thought CM Punk was younger than he was. I don't know why, but his age never matched his look. He became the biggest thing in wrestling in his early 30s, but for a while, he looked like he was in his mid 20s. :manny:

If I got the math right ...

Triple H was 30 years old when he jobbed to 54-year-old Vince McMahon and lost the WWE Championship.
Triple H was 32 years old when he jobbed to 48-year-old Hulk Hogan and lost the WWE Championship.

:jbhmm: Seems like Triple H struggled against those wily veterans ...

Kelly Kelly was 19 in 2006 on ECW when she first appeared and was instantly outperformed by Layla and Brooke Tessmacher.

Rey was 21 in 96 having some of the best organic ring performances week to week ever done...got more over by the week in stunning fashion.

Sasha is barely 28 and she's basically had quite the run in just the last 5 years.
