I did it for my son.

Breh was cool at first but then got comfy. :childplease:

Started doing little bullshyt like have my kid waiting when he's appointment based. :martin:

Stopped in the middle of my kids cut and was on the phone for almost 5 minutes. :what:

The last straw was I sent him in there once; and had to run an errand. came back and ANOTHER barber was giving my kid the cut. :dahell:

I said IITE then and ONLY started booking appointments with his ringer. :pacspit:

He was TIGHT. never confronted me but I made sure to sit there in the shop and make a point when I pulled that move.

I couldn't wait to see his reaction. :lolbron:

It was in December to so I gave the new barber a nice Christmas bonus and did it loud AF :umad:

his bum ass aint in that shop anymore either

Ngl, I'm not bold enough to do that. Usually only 1 or 2 of the barbers in a given shop were sharp enough that i would give my dollars too. I'll just find a new shop.

Barbers be on some bullshyt though. I had one as a kid who would walk out the shop and holla at people, whole conversations with people driving past. Spanish barber I stopped fukking with recently was annoying as fukk if you were 5 minutes late to his appointments, but would constantly adjust my times by 15 minutes because he either wanted to come in late or leave early. Ohlther barber was hood as shyt and eventually kept getting fired from shops, to eventually cutting out his crib. Dude was hustling on the side. I always thought someone was gonna run up in his crib guns out. Eventually stopped fukking with him, but he was one of the sharpest barbers I ever had.

Just all kinds of dumb unprofessional shyt.

Fortunately I'm bald gang now and just need my beard lined up, I don't need to be as specific with my barbers and I can trade off now when they on some bullshyt.

The Truth
Yeah

If the other is never around or bullshyttin, especially when I’m in a time crunch and got other shyt to do instead of sit in a barbershop all day.

Last real barber I had was a dude that just had his own shop by himself, and was particular about people being on time.

It was more expensive (wrote about it once. nikkas on here was giving me shyt about a $40 haircut when most of them now are around $40 for an adult and you still deal with barbershop bullshyt :mjlol: ) but there was never any real wait times. No long convos on phone unless its a client, usually no one is in there when you are so no long waits (he scheduled like that), no side missions, nothing.

Just a nice, relaxing cut with some oldies in the background and a TV with some games on.

My barber in college was like that. I would have an appointment, and I’d get there and be waiting over an hour to get in the chair. Sometimes, he wouldn’t even be there when I came in. Anybody could call, ask if he had an opening, and he’d let them come in. He owned the shop, so he pretty much did what he wanted. One time, I was sitting there googling other shops when he pulled up in his Jaguar.

That's peak pettiness
Go find a new barber in a different shop
This is the third shop I’ve been to in 3 years. They do a good job, and it’s not in the hood. It’s hard finding a good black shop not in the hood.

I even found a Dominican shop in Vegas for when we’re on vacation, and I need a cut. My wife was pissed, because we had to wait for the Uber, get to the shop, wait for the cut, then get another Uber, and get back to the Cosmo. It took a few hours, but I had a funeral to to go the day after we got back. The second time, I didn’t have time for a cut before we left.

If anyone is in Vegas and needs a cut, it’s in the plaza next to the Palms.

Yeah, he was the only one who acted like a professional and gave the best cuts. Then he left the shop because he couldn't deal with all the unprofessional shyt going on and I followed him.
I did the same shyt. Old shop turned into a hair salon on some queen latifah shyt. Bro got his own spot now smaller but more in control. I went back over there one time this old lady let her neice bump up against me dancing and shyt.. I never went back.

Only time I ever switched barbers is cause dude was a no show. Had his sister in there cutting hair smelling like raspberries and Chanel No. 5. She used to hold my head like a prized artifact

He came back trying to regain his numbers I was like damn so your sister staying?... I mean I may as well let her keep building up her skillset playa. She done already got used to me. nikkas was laughing but she had that midas touch.
