im thinking about getting into this field mainly cuz i feel it fits my personality. im assuming its a low stressful type gig where you dont have to deal wit too many people or have a boss breathing down your neck all day. im a loner type and dont really like interacting with people too much so i feel it would be a good match for me. basicly riding around in an A/C truck delivering shyt bumping my tunes :myman: does anyone have any experiences in this field good or bad? is it as low stress as i think? the only downside is i heard a lot of these jobs are long hours :bryan:

I used to deliver Jaguar cars while I was in college. Like when people buy Jags or need to bring them in for service then would have us go pick them up and bring them back. I worked there with a few friends from high school that shyt was probably the most fun I've ever had at a job.

So many crazy stories.

Taking the Jags home that needed to stay overnight and bringing them back before they opened up. :whoo:

A few high class hookers would get their cars serviced there :shaq:

Well, you have a manager who isn't going to micro-manage your driving and delivery, but you will be susceptible to other things like delivering on time, avoiding accidents, not damaging goods, safety, etc.
If you are a total loner, you can try to get a commercial vehicle driver's license and get into trucking. Rather than driving a local route, you are driving large loads cross-country.

Many years ago I had a van driving job where I had to go collect supermarket shopping trolleys that people used to leave abandoned in designated areas and bring them back.

It was actually one of the best jobs I ever had.

Aim higher with your goals, if this what you want be a cab driver or limo driver more money less stress.

Okay. Just a note, getting a commercials driver's license will also open up driving opportunities where you drive locally every workday. Like dump trucks, cement mixers, heating oil delivery, anywhere a rig is the vehicle to transport stuff.
