Anybody ever call in to sports radio and get hung up on on air?

most times radio dj's will hang up on you when you back em into a corner with facts

Only show I ever called into was the Morning Jones. It was one of the games from the 2011 playoffs after I think Lebron killed the Bulls in the clutch with a bunch of jumpers and Bomani was praising him. I called in making the point that him not attacking the basket is still a problem, just that the jumpers happened to falling but it would come back to haunt them.

I got hit with the "Hate, Hate, Hate" and hung up on.

Yeah but he gives his callers a chance to give a "take" whereas most local radio djs are looking for talking points or somebody to co-sign what they're spewing about.

Perfect example here in the Bay Area is 95.7 The Game Sports Radio. The "Drive" lineup with Ric Bucher and this dumbfukk named Brandon Tierney do that constantly. It's actually the dumbfukk Brandon but he cuts callers off w/ the quickness.

I want to call that fukker out on his "Kansas City Chiefs are going to surprise a lot of teams this year and win the AFC West"... with no supporting facts... just cuz he has a "feeling"

I've never called into sports radio. The best I did was send a email to a local sports show in Denver while I was at work. It was when they announced Artest's suspension for elbowing Harden last year and the Lakers/Nuggets matchup was set.

I basically said it was Harden's fault for getting his head in the way of Artest's elbow and he shouldn't even be suspended a game. They went NUTS on-air reading it.

They used to have the link on their site, but it's been taken down since they changed shows (I did post it on ).

thats why most ESPN national shows dont' take callers mane. Their hosts would get exposed quite often.

95% of the people that call into sports talk radio are idiots. Or at least that's how it is on 610 WIP.
