Moving for retirement sure but i have no plans to leave because of Trump. I live in a Blue State and City and am from a Blue State and city. For the most part i am fine but if i did want to "chill out" somewhere it would probably be Brazil or Colombia. With Brazil i could get a digital nomad visa and be straight.

I am not saying move and change countries but no sane black person full well knowing we are heading into a fascist white supremacist authoritarian regime that has all controls and levers of power from the government to the courts to the military wont have a contingency plan they can use of if the times call for it.

I'm getting a passport, but not because of Trump. Because I'd like to travel more in the future.

America is still my home, my family is from here so I'd never leave permanently.

I think those who are fearful should definitely leave. Fear is super contagious and can ruin everything.

There is a whole mini ecosystem of black lesbians who have moved to Mexico. They all help each other and give each other tips of where to stay etc.


In general most of them are doing wfh and don’t really have money like that. But in Mexico their dollar goes further. They mostly front and post pics like they are living it up and balling out of control but they are not. They do seem to have a slightly better life then they would have in the states
