I know I'm late as hell on both these games but I finally got em about a week ago. All I kept hearing was how great Arkham City was and Arkham Asylum was ok, but Arkham City was outta this world :stopitslime:

Now, I'm only about 20-30% done with Arkham City, but so far I don't get it. This big open city shyt is annoying to me and just not been enjoyable so far. I'm sure it gets better, I'm at the part where I just whipped Freeze ass and I'm bout to go chase after Harley Quinn, but I'm having a hard time even wanting to play this shyt. I don't like the story that much at all and I'm tired of these dumbass side missions and having to fight these goons every 2 seconds.

Arkham Asylum was dope as fukk to me. I loved the dark element to that game. The closed in Asylum environment > the big ass Arkham City. I couldn't stop playing Asylum and it seems like a pain in the ass just to play Arkham City.

What's the general opinion on both these games on here? Have I just not played enough of Arkham City yet or what?

Both are two of my fav games ever, but I just like AC better.

But I wish AC had the triple batclaw and more Scarecrow.

By the time you finish AC (take your time and notice the details) you will love AC.

I think the worst thing you can do in AC is rush through it. The side missions, details and riddles conversations of the goons are awesome. It's just so damn hard to complete it 100%.

I've done all the missions, physical challenges, riddles, but they combat challenges are a lot.

AA was it's own game. AC is too "open wordlish" for me, trying to be like every other game with side missions and shyt like that. Still a dope game though, but I definitely prefer AA.

They need to make a full game where you play as the Joker and Batman is the villain. People would eat that shyt up.

I think the way the game was designed had something to do with people just blowing through it without doing the side stuff.

I remember playing the game with an urgent mentality because of the build up with Bats trying to catch Joker, and with him combating the poison he was injected with.

I went through the game like :damn: I gotta hurry and get this dude before I'm weak and die.

There were tons of other things to do besides the main missions, but the way the game's story played out made it feel like you were in danger and on a time limit.

I think I'm like 60 or 70 something complete in that game though, I still have to go back and finish some stuff up, but I know I 100% AA, and I still think AC is better in every way.
