My OP didn't mention race.

And dude asked why I made a thread about it on here.
This is the only forum I'm on, and it's a majority black. I didn't know black people were even fukking with Star Wars like that, and apparently they must be if it's on here, I just don't know any that do. That bit of information is really meaningless to my actual question of what the overall appeal is which is why I didn't even ask "Why do black people watch Star Wars" in my OP. It don't matter to me :yeshrug:
Its one of doze things everyone watched as a kid or at least knos about it and is a staple in pop culture, so everyone as a whole is jus hyped for it :manny:

Myself like u I couldnt give 2 shyts but idk maybe hardcore fans like it cuz it has a good story or some shyt :russ:

Oh sorry my bad I forgot your ancestors were forced against their will to watch Star Wars.:troll: Please you can't compare the two, one is a shytty movie made for Cacs and somewhere along the way this generation of p*ssy assed fukk Bois have adopted it even thought the Cacs it was made for have been loud and clear about how they feel about blacks. Go ahead and give the Cacs your money so they can go ahead and make more shytty space films with the white heroes.:russ:
The main character in star wars is black now. Wtf are you talking about.:dwillhuh:

Who is getting defensive??....bruh you sound like a hard headed retard who is not conveying what everyone is else is trying to tell you...the movie is timeless and that is all that really needs to be said....for someone to not understand that is truly hilarious....

Do you imagine yourself as the cac that swings about that laser sword? Look at this bytch ass nikka say this shyt is timeless.

There's nothing to really explain. A lot of people (myself included) think Star Wars is a great series of movies (mostly) and we never thought it would be rebooted.

Even Jesse Jackson said a few years ago, “There is nothing more painful to me … than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.

This is your hero???....:heh:....

That's what I'm assuming.
It's just, the hype is so big and the storyline is pretty much known by everyone at this point I don't see me being entertained by it because I know the gist of it already.

It's like Sixth Sense to me. I liked the movie, but I could see somebody who already knew Bruce Willis was dead that whole time prior to seeing it not really feel like the twist added anything to it.

I gotta admit tho, if I watched a movie with some dude getting ready to fight this big villian, then at the end of the movie they said the villian is his father I'd be like ":ohhh: wtf"

What's not to like about Star Wars? Giant ships flying around in space shooting each other, samurai fights with laser powered weapons :wow: it's menacing villains, a beautiful vast range of settings, epic twists, Samuel l Jackson, a fully fleshed out and detailed universe, and a tragic love story woven through :blessed:

And thanks to another nikka who could actually explain the appeal while not getting emotional :myman:
