Anybody else love the look of most late 80's-early 90's movies?

They have such a "warmness/softness" that makes them so great to watch. Especially the good movies, even the bad or cheesy ones are a little easier to stomach.

I was watching "What About Bob?" on Netflix the other day and it's just :blessed:

The color and sharpness in most movies today is just so rigid/harsh IMO

What About Bob? is a straight up classic. Funniest comedy movie from the 90's or of all time IMO! Great OP!

I agree.. all this cgi and green/blue screens is starting to have films look washed with unnatural colors...
We need sets and models and etc ...

I'm a fan of movies from that era for different reasons. A lot of them do still hold up very well over time and aged good. However, Pacific Rim on blu ray has to be the best purely aesthetic looking live-action movie I've ever seen.

I was watching "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitters Dead" the other day and I was giggling like a little bytch. Then drank some kool-aid and took a nap.
