Anybody else have a song stuck in their head from your childhood but dont know who it is?

Anybody else have that issue? How did you solve it?

I got this joint stuck in my head from when I was probably between 5-8.

Which is late 80's, early 90's.

It's a joint from a woman singing a song and that's all I know . I think it was a love song too.

I only know the melody.

And I was living in Europe at the time (Amsterdam)

I wonder if I will ever find it. The fact that I still remember that song from such a young age must mean that the song was a big record,

or else it would've never been registered in my brain.

edit : I think I remember the video of it too. I just vaguely remember a car and thats it

On a side note, these last couple of months, I was successfull in finding two joints from my childhood.

These where two joints that I thought that I would never rediscover again

but the difference with these two songs is that I had a bit more info so I was able to backtrack and do some research and find it.

lol, my gf actually does have a windows phone and I have android. We both tried the music button and sound hound and a few others and still can't find the song. I'm guessing its British, maybe someone like Paul Hardcastle or Thomas Dolby, maybe even a German song. Any guesses?

My phone said stand by sly and the family stone but I did not double check to see if it was right.
It actually played for two seconds and my phone found it pretty speedy.

UPDATE : double checked the link and this was not stand.

I would have to probably look up old break beats and see if it pops up as a hyper link.
I found a lot of bboy breaks like that.
UPDATE : this maybe a mix and you should just rip it off youtube using youtube to mp3

I remember Shackles on My feet. Just bothers me I never knew who did that first song. I'm big on Paul Hardcastle and Kraftwerks and that song always seemed to be in that lane.
