And on a system that didn't have many fan favorites this gen, those numbers are horrible.

Nah SMG 1 & 2 were some of the most brilliant, unique games that had laudable design. That game is a platformer classic period. The music, graphics and levels were nothing short of amazing.

Super Mario 64 was hot but gamers tend to look back at the past with rose-tinted glasses.

And if you really gave a fukk about gaming, you'd stop talking all this dumbshyt about xbox since you on it damn near daily (more than you game on any other system)

Real talk, the WillU isn't even a real Next generation console. It's just the Wii trying to catch up with the PS3 & Xbox 360. When the PS4 & Xbox 720 come out, the WiiU is about to be left in the dust again.

The Wii & WiiU are targeted at kids & families. That target audience probably doesn't even understand the concept of exclusive games. Only Adults, Teenagers, & Serious gamers (i.e anybody who fukks with a PS3 or Xbox 360 insteaf of a Wii.) care about exclusive games.

So in short, NOBODY gives a fukk about Nintendo exclusive games.

Nintendo's biggest commodity is their exclusively made games and they know that, which is why they can get away with releasing a half assed console like the Wii-U.

Back on topic... all I know is NSMB U, Bayo 2, P-100 and Rayman Legends are some good "core" exclusives. Those 4 are prob reason enough for me to pick one up at some point. And the storage thing isn't an issue if they've already said you can attach larger, non-proprietary hdds

I think it's clear that they are putting in that effort. Now they just have to keep it up. Easier said then done. Especially if some of these games don't sell as well as they hope.

Ports of old games and multiplats gamers can already buy on their old consoles isn't enough. Nintendo needs to do a bunch more before Microsoft and Sony come touting "We have next gen graphics with our new console. "

Plus, it's still not clear that Nintendo has third parties fully behind them. The Wii had third party support at the start and we all know how that happened.

Ultimately, I want to like the wii u but just find nothing that stands out as of yet. The concept of touch screen is very common place so that is not a factor. If anything, it can be a hindrance to look down away from the larger screen. If you choose to play primarily looking down, then the concept of also having it on the big screen is irrelevant. Both scenarios fly in the face of the other. So does this make it a gimmick.

If it's about game titles, are most of these titles available already. Graphics are current gen standard. Again, not a wii u hater and actually want a reason to buy one..as I am a gamer....but I am still waiting for the reason. Any gamer has if anything a traditional love/salute to nintendo for the most part...but I gotta see more from this first.

I'm going to get a WiiU most likely because first and foremost Smash Bros. 4 will be coming out in the near future.

Secondly, the modding scene and potential for $$$$ is high because once the WiiU is exploited there will be droves of customers wanting their WiiU modded.

I've owned every Nintendo console so far except for the 3DS. I'd like it but I don't really feel like I need it yet. I feel as though right now there are way too much gaming options available and this new WiiU only exacerbates the quandary the hardcore gamer face which is how do they devote time to all these systems and /or save money??

I think this thing will be sold at high prices on eBay. If the price is right I'll sell mine. Many Gamestops stopped taking preorders today or so I heard on GAF.
