Nah bruh, while nintendo's did break down somewhat over time.
It was NEVER an instant thing. It wasn't a first few years thing
It was at the end, and even then they would still work.
I didn't start seeing straight up DEAD NES systems til around the time N64came out

The wii is geared towards children. If you have kids, they probably don't even know about the Wii-U yet
When they find out about it, they will want it
My kids still prefer the wii over... well, they actually now are gravitating to the xbox (proud dad here)
But the wii, they have access to every game so its still a fan favorite

But my point is if you don't have kids, you most likely not looking at nintendo anymore...
